    This email is to let you know that due to the low number of requests that we have received, tomorrow's site induction has been cancelled.

  • 30th september 2024, Safety alert - Action required

    All Contractors,

    On Wednesday the project had a serious safety incident where a hiab rolled onto its side during unloading. Luckily no one was injured.

    There were a number of causational factors, however the incident was easily avoidable through scheduling of the delivery and notifying the supervisor prior to arrival.

    Please make sure any deliveries follow the project requirements set out below;

    - Deliveries must be scheduled prior with the relevant accepting supervisor and/or engineer
    - All deliveries must report direct to the area supervisor upon arrival
    - All delivery drivers must either be project inducted or complete a delivery driver induction upon arrival
    - All unloading of materials must be done in line with project safety requirements as directed by the area supervisor
    - Anyone accessing site must wear the required PPE and always follow all site requirements
    - No unloading or lifting without approval from the area supervisor
    - Any frequently used plant and light vehicles onsite must be site approved through the Hammertech equipment portal and display the associated project plant ID number.

    Can you please toolbox the safety alert and above message to your workforce and supply completed toolbox copies to tpalencia@chbteam.com.au by the 15th of October.
